new HEPA filter

I now have a HEPA filter…

At the beginning of January I bought a HEPA filter after reading social media posts by virologists, epidemiologists and scientists who study the fluid dynamics of aerosol transmission of disease. I continue to open the consulting room window, just not as much as before and the HEPA filter, on its lowest setting, cycles the air twice over the course of a therapy session. I estimate the omicron transmission risk, if one of us is infected, as 0.1%. Masks are still required in the public areas of the building but not in the therapy room (although some building users are not using masks at all and some are not vaxed, there’s very little I can do about that).
